SF House is the result of an experimental design in which we had as objective to provide a NZEB building (near zero energy building). The building replaces that collapsed in the earthquake in Emilia of 2012 and has been developed using the most advanced wood technology, with a very high degree of prefabrication. This entails a greater design burden, but of much more rapid building time.
SF House è il risultato di un esperimento progettuale nel quale avevamo come obiettivo quello di realizzare un edificio NZEB (near zero energy building). L’edificio sostituisce quello crollato in occasione del terremoto in Emilia del 2012 ed è stato realizzato utilizzando la tecnologia del legno più avanzata, con un altissimo grado di prefabbricazione. Questo comporta un maggior onere progettuale, ma tempi di cantiere molto più rapidi.
