In order to coordinate activities and equip the newly established Space Situational Awerness Center ( C-SSA) with a suitable infrastructure to house its activities, the Contracting Authority has asked UGS to create a high-tech building, capable of remaining operational 24 hours a day and constantly connected with the special networks of the global aviation divisions afferent to the project. It will also have to be capable of facilitating the exchange of operational personnel and will be of equipped with a state-of-the-art operations center. Obviously it will be an NZEB building and will have (for operational needs) a high acoustic standard. In order to contain the heat island effect, the building will be set in a small park featuring a diverse mix of biotypes. Pathways and parking lots will all be made of permeable material.
Al fine di coordinare le attività e di dotare il neo costituito Centro Space Situational Awerness ( C-SSA) di un’infrastruttura idonea ad ospitarne le attività la Stazione Appaltante ha chiesto ad UGS di creare un edificio altamente tecnologico, in grado di rimanere operativo 24 ore su 24 e costantemente connesso con le reti speciali delle divisioni areonautiche mondiali afferenti al progetto. Dovrà anche essere in grado di facilitare le operazioni di scambio di personale operativo e sarà di dotato di una centrale operativa di ultima generazione. Ovviamente sarà un edificio NZEB ed avrà (per esigenze operative) un elevato standard acustico. Al fine di contenere l’effetto “isola di calore”, l’edificio sarà inserito in un piccolo parco caratterizzato da una miscela di biotipi molto varia. I percorsi ed i parcheggi saranno tutti realizzati con materiale permeabile.
